THE DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR RADIO BROADCASTER ACCEPTENCE SELECTION AT RRI TERNATE CITY USES THE PROMOTHEE METHOD

Abstract

Radio Broadcaster is a radio broadcaster who broadcasts his voice through radio transmission. A radio announcer introduces and discusses things such as music, conducts interviews that involve calling listeners, or delivers news, weather forecasts, sports developments or traffic information. Radio Republik Indonesia Ternate City every year receives broadcasters because every year it is also determined that the broadcaster's contract period has been completed. Therefore broadcasters must fill positions in radio stations that are vacant. In addition, to bring a new, fresher atmosphere in broadcasting. To receive radio broadcasters is not easy, because in the process of receiving not all applicants who can qualify to become broadcasters must have certain criteria that need to be considered. For this reason, a program director in calculating the assessment of the criteria must be really relevant because basically it will affect the final result. Therefore, in order to get quality broadcasters, a decision support system was made. In this study using the waterfall model for system development and using the Preference Ranking Organization Method For Enrichment Evaluation (Promethee) method. to implement a decision support system in determining a person's eligibility to become a broadcaster. Based on the results of this study, the system can apply the Promethee method by providing effective results.
