Abstract

Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is a computer-based system designed to support the operational and managerial functions of hospitals in an integrated and efficient manner. This study was conducted at Sofifi Regional General Hospital, which faces several issues in the implementation of HMIS, such as data duplication, non-functional features, and a lack of system monitoring and evaluation. The aim of this study is to evaluate user satisfaction with the benefits of HMIS and to analyze the impact of service quality on system usage. The study adopts a prototyping approach to redevelop a web-based HMIS in order to improve service efficiency and facilitate the management of patient data, medications, and other medical services. Data collection was carried out through surveys and interviews with system users. The evaluation results show that the proposed system is capable of improving service quality and increasing user satisfaction. With the implementation of a web- based HMIS, hospital management processes become faster, more accurate, and more integrated.
