PEER REVIEWER
All manuscripts submitted to JBATIK (Journal of Community Service in Information and Communication Technology) are subject to a double-blind peer review process.
In this system, both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure an objective and fair evaluation.
Each submitted manuscript will first be evaluated by the editorial team to verify its compliance with the focus and scope, submission guidelines, and formatting requirements of the journal. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria will be rejected during the pre-review stage.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be assigned to at least two reviewers who are experts in relevant fields. Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, quality of content, methodology, relevance to ICT-based community service, and contribution to knowledge or community development.
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board will make one of the following decisions:
-
Rejected (not suitable for publication)
-
Major Revision (requires significant improvement before reconsideration)
-
Minor Revision (requires small corrections before acceptance)
-
Accepted (approved for publication)
