Abstract

ARAS and EDAS are two multi-criteria methods and are included in the MCDM method. The aim of this research is to build a decision support system using the ARAS and EDAS methods in order to compare the sensitivity of the ARAS method and the EDAS method. The tests carried out in chapter IV produced the highest to lowest preference values from the ARAS and EDAS methods. In the ranking results, the ARAS method has the highest alternative value of the 6 alternatives, namely 0.331 and the lowest is 0.184. The EDAS method has the highest value of the 6 alternatives, namely 0.643 and the lowest is 0.211. In sensitivity testing, the method shows that EDAS tends to be more sensitive than the ARAS method. This is because in the first stage of sensitivity testing, the ARAS method has a value of 0.331 and the TOPSIS method has a value of 0.643. stage 2 of the ARAS method has a value of 0.184 and the EDAS method has a value of 0.211 in stage 3 of the ARAS method has a value of 0.257 and the EDAS method has a value of 0.427. From the third stage of testing it can be concluded that the better method is the ARAS method because the ARAS method is not very sensitive to changes in preference values compared to the EDAS method which is more sensitive to changes in preference values.
