About the Journal
Jurnal Penelitian Peternakan Kepulauan is an open access scientific journal published by the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Khairun since 2024. Jurnal Penelitian Peternakan Kepulauan is published twice a year (October and April) with the aim of publishing the results of thought and research involving tropical livestock, such as cattle, buffalo, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and poultry, which includes the sub-fields of animalm breeding and genetics, animal nutrition and feed, livestock reproduction, socio-economics of animal husbandry, processing of livestock products and by -livestock products, animal microbiology, as well as other topics relevant to the field of animal husbandry, both in ruminants, non-ruminants and poultry.
The types of articles that can be published in the Jurnal Penelitian Peternakan Kepulauan include research articles, short communications, and review articles.
Publication Fees: articles are published free of charge.
Peer-Review Process
All articles submitted to the editorial staff will go through an initial review process by the Editorial Board. The article will be sent to peer reviewers for the next selection step, the Double-Blind Review Process. As soon as the double blind review process is complete, the article will be returned to the author for revision. This process can take up to 4 weeks. Each article will be reviewed by two people. The editorial and peer review teams are all experienced in managing and publishing national and international academic journals.
