Abstract

In Ternate there are many cafes, but not all ordinary people know about cafes in Ternate, especially cafes that are nice and comfortable for hanging out or discussing, whether it's a homework or a job. The dissemination of information on the location of the cafe is currently very minimal, according to some tourists / tourists when they visit a place that has never been visited before, the first thing they do is open a browser to find the place they are going to visit, it starts from transportation, place to live, a place to eat, a place to relax, a place for recreation, etc. Problems that arise are due to the absence of a system that can help the public and tourists in finding information and the location of cafes in Ternate City, the geographic information system is very precise and needed to meet these needs. The results of this research are an application that can map the location of cafes in Ternate City, especially North, Central and South Ternate Districts. This geographic information system uses the prototype system development method and the blackbox system testing method and the system functions have been tested and can be used and all processes in this geographic information system can run well as expected.
