Abstract

In the Mathematics Study Program of Khairun University, the determination of supervisors and examiners is appointed directly by the Study Program Coordinator, meaning that direct appointment can make decisions less appropriate and not optimal. Because it does not fully meet the criteria as a supervisor and examiner in accordance with the student's title. To solve these problems, appropriate solutions are needed, taking into account the specifications of lecturers in accordance with the criteria of prospective supervisors and examiners using a decision support system. The decision-making method used in this study is the Multifactor Evaluation Processes (MFEP) method. The MFEP method was chosen because it is able to choose the best alternative from a number of alternatives by using the Weighting System in decision making. The system created can produce recommendations for supervisors and thesis examiners based on the ranking carried out, where some alternatives that have the highest value from all alternatives sorted will become supervisors and thesis examiners.
