This community service program aims to strengthen the capacity of women in Lam Permai Village in broiler chicken processing through training on sanitation, marination techniques, and safe storage of poultry products. Women’s empowerment was adopted as a strategic approach to enhance household and community economic resilience, considering their central role in food management. The program was implemented using a participatory framework, encompassing hygiene handling training, marination formulation, freezing techniques, proper freezer organization, and the establishment of a women-led microenterprise group. Evaluation results indicate an increase in participants’ knowledge by more than 70%, with the highest improvement observed in storage practices (80%). Participants were able to apply appropriate food safety standards and produce several variants of ready-to-cook marinated chicken products. Moreover, the formation of the women’s entrepreneurial group represents a significant outcome in promoting independence and program sustainability. Overall, this initiative effectively enhanced technical competencies while creating potential food-based economic opportunities for women in the village.
