Pengembangan Tanaman Hortikultura di Lahan Pekarangan dengan Sistem Vertikulur di Kelurahan Faudu Kecamatan Pulau Hiri

Abstrak

The little island of Hiri has very little area used for agriculture. Due to population development and the conversion of land into residential areas, the problem of agricultural land is becoming more and more limited. The availability of food is challenged by this. Using yard land well is one way to improve food security, independence, and sufficiency. Vegetable production utilizing verticulture methods is one method of cultivation that can be used on a restricted amount of land. In an effort to improve household food security, this community service project intends to introduce vegetable production techniques utilizing a verticulture sistem. PKK women from Ternate City, North Maluku's Faudu Village and Hiri Island District participated in this exercise. This exercise uses practice and counseling as its strategy.
