Abstrak
The community's everyday food waste produces organic garbage, which is not being properly disposed of and is growing and damaging the ecosystem. In order to decrease organic waste, participants in this community service project will receive instruction on how to turn organic trash into compost that farmers can use and how to use organic waste to grow maggots that chicken farmers may use as high-protein feed. Fertilizer and feed are necessary for some farmers and breeders, but the expense of purchasing them is rising at the moment. By seizing these chances, the young farmers in the Faperta Millennial group—alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture—should exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit. For young farmers, using organic waste and raising maggots as a composter and substitute animal feed is a very promising economic potential. The community's ability to produce animal feed and fertilizer based on maggots is the intended outcome of this community service project for farmers and breeders.
