PKM PEMBUATAN TEPUNG PISANG MULU BEBE DI DESA AIR PANAS, KECAMATAN SAHU TIMUR KABUPATEN HALMAHERA BARAT

Abstrak

This community service activity aims to provide technical training to the residents of Air Panas Village, Sahu Timur Subdistrict, West Halmahera Regency, in processing Pisang Mulu Bebe into flour as a form of local food diversification. The primary problem faced by the community partner is the lack of skills and access to simple technology for post-harvest processing, particularly for local bananas, which are mostly consumed fresh. The training used a hands-on approach and focused on the processing stages including steaming, sun-drying, grinding, sifting, and packaging. The results indicate an improvement in participants' skills, with the banana flour produced meeting basic food texture standards. The program also sparked independent initiatives to continue production and demonstrated a viable solution to local problems while opening up new small-scale business opportunities based on local resources.
